We are kicking summer off right with a sweet treat.
White cake+vanilla frosting+(Heidi's favorite) sprinkles!!
There is not a better way than that. The kids are getting in on the action and loving every single minute.
It's super smokin' hot here in TN. Plus it's the middle of the day, so this little baking project helped break up the afternoon and keep us busy.. Eeehh, or maybe I just wanted some cake?!

I have literally been walking around in the voice of Olaf..singing SUMMER!!! The babies have no idea what that's even from, but they think it's hysterical.
And that makes me laugh...
As soon as John gets home the kids know what time it is.. A ride on the ranger.
Or Heidi likes to call it "Go for ride"
I can take them out but its so crazy difficult without Thomas walking just yet. And Heidi heads for all the places she shouldn't.. Like the fire pit, for example, or the tree line that hosts a million poison ivy leaves.
An extra set of Daddy hands sure helps a Momma out.

I'm so grateful the babies have all the freedom to roam around and play out here. We're making memories.
